Chunk has been in police kennels for over 12 months after a incident occurred between Chunk and a intruder in the family home. Chunks case has been a long process, firstly through the magistrates court with numerous appearances and then through appeal proceedings at the crown court with over 5 hearings before a decision was made by a crown court judge to save Chunk and place him into the care of Carla Lane Animals In Need subject to a control order. Many people on social media have asked why Chunk cannot be returned to his original owner unfortunately due to a court order we cannot discuss this further.

Chunks original owner would like to thank everyone who supported him and Chunk through proceedings and  thank everyone who donated to help him fund Chunks expert assessment.

Although this case is very bitter sweet we wish Chunk all the best with his new life.
