Christmas Opening Hours

PAWS Christmas Opening Hours

Our emergency helpline for canine-related incidents (0151 480 4330) will be open 24 hours a day over the Christmas period. If you are busy with another case, please leave your name and number and we'll get back to you as soon as we are able. You can also contact us by email or on Facebook.

The office will be open until 1pm on Friday 21st December. We will then be open on the 27th, 28th and 31st December between 9:30 am and 1pm. We will be open as usual from Wednesday 2nd January.

We wish you and your pets a very happy Christmas and a lovely new year!

We need to clear up a few incorrect facts about our fee system please note the following;

We offer FREE initial advice-  This means we offer either a free consultation with a expert at the office or free  expert advice over the telephone.

We offer FREE police station representation- We can arrange for a legal representative to attend at a police interview with you.

We offer a initial investigation service for a small fee of £180.00 this is for cases where dogs have been seized by police and no proceedings have yet to take place. We have managed to get involved early in many of these case and have had dogs returned without the need to go to court.

If cases proceed to court we do offer legal aid. However whether you qualify for legal aid will be determined by the offence you have been charged with and your individual means. Please note there may be contributions required in legal aid cases, this usually occurs in crown court matters, whether you will be made subject to contributions will be determined by the legal aid agency. If you do receive a contribution notice requiring a substantial monthly amount we are able to provide you with the option of a fixed fee on a private paying basis which may be cheaper.

If legal aid is not available we do offer a flexible fixed fee system.

For any further information about any of this please call our office on 0151 4804061
